Enlightenment Enhanced
In June, audiences were enthralled by the Choir’s “Enlightenment A Cappella” concert, showcasing unreasonably-neglected composers of the mid-18th century. Now these rare gems are encased in “jewel boxes” containing St. Martin’s newest CD. Recorded at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Denver (prized for its otherworldly acoustics), mastered by David Wilson, and underwritten by the Mark Sheldon Fund, this is the Choir’s eleventh release. Savor sweets, hear Tim’s sampling of and inimitable reflections about this achievement, toast the occasion with prosecco, and take home a complimentary copy of the CD to enjoy.
